Hi there!
My name is Hannah and I am an animal lover - so much so I made a career out of it!
You can rest easy knowing your fury best friend is in very safe, experienced and loving hands.
During my early twenties, while at uni, I began working as a veterinary nurse in a small animal clinic in Glen Iris, Melbourne. I stayed in the role for 7 years and later became involved in managing the practice. This opened my eyes to the animal health and welfare industry and I never looked back.
As much as I adored the role, I wanted to expand my skills.
I moved on to working as a guide dog nurse for Guide Dogs Victoria. I cared for both the guide dogs in training as well as the new born puppies in the nursery.
I am currently employed with a lead animal welfare organisation where I work in a very specialised role that is dedicated to preventing animal cruelty. I am responsible for assessing the welfare of animals on a daily basis, and making appropriate decisions to ensure their best interest.
Before I became a mumma (to a human baby) I volunteered with the Lort Smith Animal Hospital as a pet therapy volunteer with my Great Dane, Bert. He brings a smile to many peoples faces- it warms my heart.
As you may be able to tell, I just adore all animals!
After moving to Bacchus Marsh in 2021, I noticed a demand for pet minding and thought I could put my experience and passion to good use.
I have experience with all species - so there is no challenge too great
Cats/dogs/kittens/puppies/birds/ferrets/rabbits/guinea pigs/horses -you name it, I can help :)
I am also skilled in administering medication, so if your baby is a senior citizen, or just on regular medication that is no problem. I am confident in administration of oral medication to cats and dogs, as well as injectable medication (eg insulin for those diabetic pets).
I'd love to assist you with your pet - and of course give you any extra tips/tricks or pointers along the way. I am confident in recognition of stress, anxiety, sickness or injury in animals so you can feel confident that your pet is in safe hands.

basic home visit:
I drop into your home to feed, water and clean up after your pet. To ensure they are in good health, I always give them a health check and of course plenty of cuddles. Includes an emailed visit report/photo of your pet so you can see how they are going while you are away. Duration 30 minutes.
basic home visit + exercise:
Includes everything in a basic home visit, plus additional exercise for your pet. Choice of walk, off lead play time or exercise at home. Duration 1-1.5 hours
Dog walk:
A nice walk for your dog on lead. Duration 45 minutes.
Meet and greet
Meet and greets are a must for me! This is to ensure you feel comfortable. It allows me get to know your pet and build trust with them before you leave. Duration 30 minutes
